Greetings!

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to Sahid Yagyashwor Memorial Polytechnic Institute. Established in 2075 BS (2018) as a constituent institute under the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training, we are located on the western outskirts of Chaurjahari Municipality, ward 1, Rukum West. Our mission is to produce a skilled workforce to meet the nation’s needs in technical, vocational, and academic education. Starting with a Diploma in Forestry, the high demand for technical education has led us to offer three-year diplomas (PCL) in Geomatics Engineering, Forestry, and Pharmacy (Special).

SYMPI is well-equipped with several infrastructures deemed necessary for the higher education. Well-equipped laboratories, classrooms, well-furnished girls’ and boys’ hostels, staff accommodations, playground, cafeteria and several buildings for academic and administrative purposes are the major infrastructures of the campus. Experienced academic faculties and administrative staff are the major assets of the institute to excel effective functioning of academic programs in the field of technical education. This institute is devoted for excellence in teaching, learning and research to achieve quality results.

 I would like to express my deep sincere gratitude to all the staffs, students, guardians and stakeholders for their tireless effort and precious time in the development of this institute, it’s my immense pleasure and privilege to work as a team with you all.
